The Midday Power Saver will share the benefits of renewable energy to give even more Victorians cheaper power.

Households that shift their electricity use to the middle of the day will take advantage of cheaper power during that window, saving families will save up to $300 per year off their energy bills.

Victorians who regularly work from home, have batteries or smart devices that can switch household appliances to run during the middle of the day will benefit the most.

More details, including the time periods and prices for the offer across the state, will be released in May, and the program will roll out from later this year.
